World Backup Day
Yes, this also exists, and it falls on today, March 31.
On this date, we would like to remind you how important backup is. Most of you have probably lost some data at some point - whether it was an accidentally deleted photo or document, or larger data loss when the entire device that contained your data was damaged.
How to prevent similar situations? It's quite simple, just have your data stored on multiple devices at once. There is a simple guideline to safely backup your data. It's called the 3-2-1 rule. Thanks to this rule, it should be possible to prevent data loss. What does this rule mean and how can you follow it? The explanation is straightforward.
3 – means it is recommended to use 3 different devices for data backup.
2 – indicates the use of at least 2 different types of storage (e.g. Internal/external disk and USB flash drive…).
1 – says that backups should not be placed in one place – ideally in a different location than the other 2 backups.
I believe that today's article was beneficial for you and may help prevent the irreversible loss of your files. And if not, we are here to help.
On the occasion of this holiday, we have decided to announce a special "PROMOTION". One randomly selected customer who will have a successfully completed order with us in the following month (i.e. from 1.4 to 30.4.2022) and gives a thumbs up (like) to this post on our Facebook, will receive an external ADATA HD710 Pro, USB3.1 - 1TB drive from us for free.
The disk can, of course, be used at the customer's discretion; however, we strongly recommend using it to back up important data.
